                                              Ven. Gangodawila Soma Thera can be described as one of the sons of the Buddha who descended for the benefit of the Buddhist people of this country at a time when the country was full of pagan views as never before.🙏🙏🙏
                                       Soma thera's style of preaching was more distinctive than that of any other preacher. Soma thera had a unique ability to keep those who listened to the sermon from beginning to end in a sermon that was not boring and asked questions from those who listened to the sermon. Soma thera departed from the traditional style of preaching and delivered tera's sermons in a timely and patriotic manner.
                                              As a result of the socialization of the Dhamma facts necessary for the religious formation of the youth through their sermons, a large number of young people began to gather around us.  The young people who came to Independence Square for the cremation of Ven. Soma Thera are a testament to how close he is to the hearts of the youth.our Ven. Soma Thera preached to the Buddhists not about deep Dhamma matters but about achieving personal development through the Panchasheela Pratipada which is the regular practice of Buddhism.It has been many years since the demise of Ven. Soma Thera, but I still listen to the sermons preached by Ven.Soma thera.🙏🙏🙏
